Yeah, it was more interesting to see what everyone else was reading.

There’s probably some great ones in Tale of Despereaux, like in the part where he reads the book instead of eating it. Unfortunately, I don’t own the book so I can’t look it up. :(

In joyful ecstasy, I danced upstairs to tell my sister that I now know of three other people in the world that memorize their library card number. She gave me one of her “You are really strange, sometimes I wonder if we’re actually related” looks. I love it when she looks at me like that.

I was planning on naming a daughter Mariel for awhile.

Me too! And I thought I was the only person who did that! My family thinks I’m crazy.

I went to the library book sale just a couple weeks ago and came out with not boxes, but a least an armload of books. They were all free, since it was the last day. Again, my family thought I was crazy, since I’m constantly complaining about the lack of shelf space.

I hate having books sitting around in piles or on top of shelves for lack of space. One of my criteria for a house someday will be a large, comfortable library with several windows.

I dream of being a librarian someday. Just imagine, spending your whole day surrounded by books…

How about Talk Like a Scot Day? I love talking like a Scottish Heelander. Ye can read Kidnapped, David Balfour, (I’m in the middle of reading this one out loud. Ye catch muir o’ the humor that way.), Duncan’s War, Scottish Chiefs, and there’s probably muir I’ve fergotten.

After I finished reading Kidnapped out loud, I found meself thinking in a Scottish accent.

And there’s a few ‘scary’ scenes.

To update my last post, Isle of Swords has arrived! I spent the last four hours or so reading it while listening to my new Prince Caspian soundtrack. Both were excellent, the soundtrack in particular. Now I’m even more eager to see the movie again!

I haven’t read it yet, but Isle of Swords is in the mail on its way to my eager hands!

If it is going to be gray, I’d prefer a light gray.

Me again. I just went and checked, and according to the official movie website, it isn’t rated yet.

I doubt I’ll see it. Maybe once it comes out on DVD, I’ll borrow it from the library. Depends on what reviewers say.

It shouldn’t be PG-13, unless they’ve gone and made it alot worse than the book. I doubt they’d do that, though, as it is supposed to be a kid’s movie.
