Ooh man, good book! But I remember not knowing that “bloody” was supposed to be a curse word, so when Elinor was mad I was left wondering how blood got on a lightbulb.

I might try to finish Rebecca today; I finished Twelfth Night and really loiked it! I think, in school, Pilgrim’s Progress is next.

This is the link to an official website I just found! Perhaps I’m the only one thrilled about it, but hey! Whatever floats yer boat, as long as it’s not bad!!!

    Woah, that was confusing.

I kind of like their uncle or whoever he was in the first book. *Thinks* The sisters’ uncle, I mean.

Oh I know, I think everyone hops on and posts a bunch right after I leave.

Gee whiz, how many books could one man write all set in one world? Or do they branch out into islands and all that rot?

*comes in late* Ahem! I bang weird made-up things on the piano and Mom used to be a music major and so can tell when someon’s off-tune. I sing alto and we have hundreds of CDs.

*is amazed at the talent on this site!!! Y’all’s, not mine per se*

I would probably play the fiddle.

I’ll be the person who gives out lashes whenever y’all hit a wrong note. Ten lashes to Sarah! Yes, Alyosha, I can’t read music either tho’ the co-op folkses tried desperatly to pound the knowledge into me head. I like picking out Christmas carols by ear.

Pip here again; I just got a movie based on “Rebecca”, one of those dry old things everybody never thinks to read. I’m trying to git through it now. *is horribly pompous* The librarian says it’s a good movie.

I remember my older sis and I just got done reading McKinley’s “Beauty” and decided to drive to town and rent Disney’s Beauty and the Beast cause, as she said, “The book got us all mixed up!” Anyone know where the original Beauty and the Beast legend came from?
