MemberThat would be most appreciated, yes. Although, as the administrator, I can see who has registered, and I can tell you that almost all members who have come online have posted something in the Read-a-Thon thread, so we’re probably good.

MemberAlthough, Story of the Treasure Seekers is decidedly written from the perspective of a boy (sorry to those who hadn’t figured it out yet), so that sort of helps with the prejudice. The funny thing is, Nesbit was a feminist!

MemberMe? I love them! (believe it or not!) I’ve heard/read other boys saying that they can’t figure out why their sisters like Anne books, but I can’t see how they don’t like them!

MemberPretty good. As with all Dickens books, a bit wordy and complicated, but still quite enjoyable.

MemberActually, my family read Cricket on the Hearth for Christmas last year, and discovered that it has nothing to do with Christmas whatsoever!

MemberYes, as Alyosha says, there are some vandals, but I’ve never found anything on Wikipedia that has been vandalized. Plus, it’s editable by anybody so if you did see a problem, you (yes you) can fix it! It’s a great resource and I use it all the time.

MemberAccording to Wikipedia, his real name is Daniel Handler.

MemberI can reread on occasion. Before I started writing reviews, I reread lots of books, probably too often. Now I find it difficult to find a pause in my line of new books that are potentially going to be reviewed in order to reread something. My last reread was DragonKnight, and then I didn’t even have the time to do it properly.

MemberActually, Lemony Snicket is a pen name that the guy made up as a joke once, then thought it’d be a good pen name. (no, I haven’t read them)

MemberEragon himself breaks rule after rule. In the first book he steals a lot of stuff from trusted friends and makes excuses for it, and then in Eldest he breaks the Elves’ rules of training multiple times.

MemberWell, hypothetically speaking in the regard of if we found out. If a list of books seems suspicious, we would contact the member and make sure that their list is legitimate.

MemberAlthough, Doon seems to me an example of somebody who needs to learn that his first thought is not usually his best. As far as I saw, he learned a little bit, and I’ll have to wait until I get a chance to read book 2 to find out how well he learned it.

MemberOoh, by all means, read Freddy! Walter R. Brooks is the author. I think they take place before, during, and after World War 1, so you get this great American spirit that kind of died after the Depression. Plus, you can’t beat a multi-talented pig who will try any new profession!
