MemberOkay, dragging up an old thread…
I read the second one awhile back, and I thought it was a better plot, but a lesser book. How’s the third one?
Jordan
MemberWell, they don’t have it. I’ll have to ILL it. That might help, though, ’cause I got my local library to purchase Bryan Davis’ EOTO books by requesting Last of the Nephilim frequently.
Jordan
MemberWe’re going to go by three random selections. We’ll pick one, let them choose from the remaining titles, pick another, etc. If the winner already owns the book, they can either keep it for resale/bragging rights/memorial (keep in mind that at least Wayne Thomas Batson’s book is signed), or decline and tell us to pick somebody else.
Jordan
MemberYes, this is the third.
Pip, the first one is l-o-n-g, and you really have to have enjoyed the DIOM series.
Yes, Alyosha, he did it. I don’t know how, but he did it. **SPOILER highlight it!** Almost made me cry! I’m partially expecting a resurrection in book three, though.

I thought this was the thread?
There was a DragonLight thread started because it was a brand new book, and some people didn’t want to be discussing the rest of the series and try to edit out spoilers at the same time. https://incredibooks.com/ibdiscuss/topic/dragonlight
Jordan
MemberLoL @ Pip! (I’m sorry, you were serious, right?)
Alyosha hit the nail on the head.

Yup. Go here: http://en.gravatar.com/signup
Sign up with them, upload a nice pic, and we’ll all see what you like for an avatar.

Member“Taking the air” is a British expression for “Going for a stroll”. And that’s a good one!
Jordan
MemberYes, that was the book!

MemberOh, I loved Paddington, etc. I haven’t read them for awhile, should probably do that. Not sure on the medal, ’cause I don’t agree with their choices anyways.

What did you read on vacation?
Umm… A book about the making of the movie Lord of the Rings. And an exciting filmmaking book.
Jordan
MemberI’m still reading Journey to the Center of the Earth. Started it before vacation, and then I got another book in the mail and read that on vacation instead.
Jordan
MemberI’m Merry.
Did anybody here put something other than “Read a book” for that one question?

(Yes, I’ve officially come back from vacation!)
Jordan
MemberThe Read-a-Thon ends at midnight on August 31st, with a cutoff date for people who haven’t joined yet. So you can keep posting until midnight on August 31st.
