MemberI liked Treasure Island when I read it. It would be good read aloud though. Maybe I’ll read that to the sibs after I finish David Balfour.

MemberYou’ve never had to pay a fine??? Wow. It’s rather annoying, because several times we have had our librarians tell us for several weeks that we had a book overdue, which we swore we returned, then it turns up on the library shelf and they just forgot to mark it returned before putting it away.

MemberI’m supposed to start Algebra 2 this year, but I never finished my Geometry from last year, so I have to do that first.

MemberIt used to drive me nuts how I would never know what was due or when. Now our library sends out email reminders when something is due, and weekly ones telling you what you have out. It’s very helpful. I wonder how much my family has paid in library overdue fees?

MemberPip, I use Teaching Textbooks too. I used to hate math, and now I don’t mind it.

MemberI’m mostly reading The Story of the Von Trapp Family Singers. It’s very interesting. I like how Maria writes.

MemberI’ve read Half Magic, Magic By the Lake, and Knight’s Castle. I liked Half Magic the best. I mean to read more, but I haven’t been to the library very often lately and I rather forgot about the books.

MemberEver, by Gail Carson Levine- 244 pages (Ella Enchanted was excellent, Fairest was okay, and Ever was tolerable. I think it would have been alot better if the author hadn’t gone and written in present tense. And I wasn’t all that fond of the gods and goddesses theme.)
The Sisters Grimm: The Problem Child, by Michael Buckley- 292 pages (Awesome series)
Running total: 10,147 pages!!!!!!! (I’m over ten thousand!!!!

MemberYeah, business can be a little slow sometimes. Fortunately for me, I have worked up to a hundred or so posted books, so I generally have enough business.

MemberThere’s a fourth one?
Alassiel
MemberOkay. I was just wondering, since I own two of the books, and figure other people might too.
Alassiel
MemberJust curious, what if the randomly selected winners of the other prizes already own the book?
